The
Challenge
Nolnk knew there had to be a way.
Recognizing that businesses need greater access to data,
Nolnk develops custom software for wireless handheld
devices. So whether you're a traveling salesperson or a
doctor on call, you can access critical data from a
personal digital assistant at your convenience.
It was a great idea for these three Rose-Hulman students
and the market was ripe. So what was Nolnk's dilemma? How
to take that product to market. They had limited resources
and weren't really sure what other support they might need.
The Result
In addition to providing the
start-up company a place to grow, Rose-Hulman Ventures also
provided computer infrastructure and support personnel.
Support personnel weren't enough to meet client demand.
Nolnk needed additional technical staff. Utilizing RHV
Dollars, a credit line for Rose-Hulman Ventures' internal
technical resources, they contracted with some of
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology's top-ranked computer
science students to assist in the development of the
product.
