Larry began his work at Rose-Hulman
Ventures during June 2008, after 14
years in software development and higher
education.
Most recently, he served on the faculty
at Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA,
where he taught computer science
courses. His teaching resume at
Lycoming and Penn State includes
programming courses in several
languages, computer security, digital
design, network design and analysis,
operating systems, and parallel
programming.
Previously, Larry worked with Keystone
Veneers, a division of The David R. Webb
Company, the U.S. operation of The
Danzer Group. At Keystone, Larry
was part of a global implementation team
moving the company to the SAP ERP
(Enterprise Resource Planning) platform.
He was responsible for the development
of work-in-process software to track and
assign value to product as it proceeded
through the manufacturing process.
In addition, he has experience using
computer vision for measurement and with
PLC control programming.
Larry received his bachelor of science
in zoology at the University of
Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He has completed
all requirements except his dissertation
for a Ph.D. in Computer Science and
Engineering from Penn State. He has
computer-science-related interests in
Linux, robotics, computer architecture,
and computer science and computer
engineering educational issues.
