Here at Rose-Hulman Ventures, we love working in the innovation space. The most invigorating projects are the ones where clients challenge us to go beyond what they know is possible in developing a new process or product. However, our clients often struggle with how to define the scope of projects like this.
At Ventures, we know the importance of good communication and strive for the best possible interactions with all of our clients. That’s why we’re highlighting the work of Sean Moseley, a Rose-Hulman associate professor of mechanical engineering and co-author of The Engineering Communication Manual.

At Ventures, we employ scores of Rose-Hulman student interns every year to work closely with our clients on product development and innovation. As a result, our interns get valuable real-world work experience while our client companies gain potential new employees while benefiting from the fresh perspectives, boundless energy and strong work ethic the interns bring to every assignment.

Minimum Viable Products. At Rose-Hulman Ventures, we build solutions to make our clients’ dreams become reality. These solutions can take many forms, from a quick and dirty prototype to a bells-and-whistles finished product. However, often the format of the final deliverable is up for debate.
Schedule and Budget, Quality Management, Project Planning, and Communication. Traditionally, schedule and budget are the two metrics by which project managers are measured.
